The Thirsty Oyster Tavern

Harbour Lights

This restaurant is situated in the 'old' harbour with beautiful views overlooking the yacht club. Seafood dishes feature highly on their menu.

Tallas Tavern

Vredenheim Big Cats Park, Stellenbosch

The Big Cats Park is a sanctuary currently home to 2 adult brown lions, 2 adult white lions, 1 white lion cub, 2 brown lion cubs, 2 caracal, 1 cheetah, 1 leopard and 2 Bengal tigers. The estate owners have a great passion for big cats and decided to open a Big Cats Park at Vredenheim to educate the public about these majestic animals and their behaviours.

Drakenstein Lion Park, Paarl

Drakenstein Lion Park was established in 1998 to provide lions in distress with sanctuary, where they could live in safety, free from abuse and persecution, and be treated with the compassion and respect they deserved. The Park is situated in the scenic Cape Winelands and comprises of 50 acres of sprawling lion habitat.

Le Bonheur Crocodile Farm, Paarl

The guided croc pond tour leads you across open dams via ramp ways. Over 1000 crocs are housed in these dams. Have an opportunity to touch a baby croc, and during summer months, witness a feeding (subject to enquiry).

Strand Waterworld & Fun Park
